BERYLLS STRATEGY ADVISORS SETS UP OFFICE IN SOUTH KOREA.
BERYLLS` PRESENCE IN KOREA, ONE OF THE WORLD`S LEADING MARKETS FOR ELECTRO-MOBILITY.
Korea is not only home to the fifth-biggest car company in the world, Hyundai/Kia; there are also numerous other companies headquartered there with a decisive influence on the future of digitisation and electro-mobility, such as Samsung, LG Electronics and LG Chem. Berylls now has a branch in this leading automotive market, too. It is located in the Gangnam district of Seoul, which is one of cultural and business centers in Seoul and home to international companies such as Google and Hyundai Motor Group.
The new company location is managed by Michael Bang, who began his professional career as a development engineer at an automotive supplier before moving into management. More than 14 years ago, he switched to the consulting industry, at Deloitte Consulting and Arthur D. Little, and has now taken on the management of Berylls Strategy Advisors Korea.
Andreas Radics, Managing Partner of Berylls Strategy Advisors in Munich, says of the development: ‘With our new presence in South Korea, we are able to serve our European and North American customers in this important automotive market. The opening of the Berylls branch in Seoul is another milestone in our strategy of following our customers worldwide and expanding our presence to this important Asian market. With Michael Bang, we have gained a very experienced automotive consulting expert and a trustworthy consultant for our customers.’
As well as brand and product strategies, the core topics for Berylls Korea Managing Director Michael Bang are sales concepts and electro-mobility. Michael Bang: ‘We are happy to establish Berylls in Korea as the first automotive top-management consultancy in the premium sector. The Korean automotive industry is one of the biggest, most innovative and most dynamic in the world. The world’s fifth-biggest car manufacturer has its headquarters in Seoul, and some of the most influential automotive suppliers of batteries, electronics, infotainment and vehicle systems are located in South Korea. As we do in the other markets in which we are represented, we are ready to serve our clients with new talents and leveraging our global network.’
The expansion of the network is part of Berylls’ ‘Customer First’ principle. The aim is to always offer customers holistic solutions resulting from a combination of the best abilities of all partners. To this end, Berylls works together with well-known research institutes, universities and opinion pollsters worldwide. The Korean location now represents an important relay station within that network.
